Kingsway Athletic FC: bringing its ground to life – Summer 2025
Through the ongoing partnership between Build My Bid and The FA, Kingsway Athletic FC received support to develop community projects linked to its plans for its home ground.
The club wanted to make greater use of the facility beyond football fixtures, creating activities that would engage local young people and strengthen its role in the community. Build My Bid helped Kingsway develop its proposals and pursue funding for this work.
The club secured £23,000 across four funding programmes: £5,000 Community Engagement, £4,000 Health and Wellbeing, £4,000 from the Neighbourhood Support and £10,000 in community grant funding.
The investment has enabled Kingsway to deliver community engagement sessions and activities for young people. It is helping the club increase participation and make its ground a place the wider community can use and benefit from.
