The Greater Manchester leisure trust commissioned Build my Bid to manage their recent Active Through Football funding bid. Active Through Football is a national Sport England and Football Foundation initiative, utilising a place based model to support underrepresented groups to become more active through football.
Build my Bid led the development of the grant funding bid in its entirety. Starting with the clear identification of need through local data analysis, moving through a process of community engagement and coproduction, ensuring a clear understanding of the barriers faced by local people creating local community ownership. Finally developing a strong funding bid that held local people at its core
